Dancing, Acting
I am a BSc Economics and Analytics student with a strong mix of technical skills (Python, Excel, Power BI), economic analysis, and data-driven decision-making. My experience spans projects in fiscal deficit forecasting, stock trend analysis, and socio-economic research on Self-Help Groups. I excel at problem-solving, critical thinking, and communicating complex insights to diverse audiences. With a passion for using analytics to drive economic growth, I am eager to contribute as an Economic Analyst. My adaptability and attention to detail make me a strong team player.
As part of an eight-week internship, I created comprehensive Development and Underdevelopment Indices for urban and sub-district areas in Jharkhand, analyzing socio-economic disparities and guiding decision-making. Using data from the 2011 Primary Census Abstract and additional sources, I employed data cleaning, normalization, and Principal Component Analysis (PCA) to uncover critical regional insights.
Additionally, I conducted a comparative analysis of professional tax structures across Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Karnataka, and West Bengal, providing actionable recommendations based on best practices. This report proposed a slab-based tax system, aimed at optimizing revenue and reducing inequality.
Technical Skills and Tools:
Led a field research project to evaluate the financing mechanisms and governance structures of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) in Jharkhand. I conducted on-the-ground interviews with women in SHGs, gaining firsthand insights into their work, funding challenges, and the power dynamics between SHGs and various levels of government.
Through this project, I assessed how SHGs empower women financially and socially, while identifying gaps in financial inclusion and institutional support. I provided recommendations to enhance the efficiency of SHG financing and governance.

Key Skills and Tools:
Utilized machine learning tools to forecast and build a predictive model for the Gross Fiscal Deficit (GFD) of Indian states. I analyzed the relationships between GFD and various economic features such as revenue and deficit, performing exploratory data analysis and applying descriptive statistics to develop accurate forecasts. The model was pickled for future use with time series data.
Technical Skills and Tools:
Developed a clothing inventory system for warehouses to manage clothing and accessories across multiple brands, complete with item images and IDs. Built as a web application, it allows users to easily check the availability of items in warehouses. The system uses NoSQL for database management, ensuring scalable and flexible data storage, while Python was utilized for front-end development and user interface.
Technical Skills and Tools:
Conducted an in-depth stock data analysis using Excel, focusing on identifying stock trends and analyzing the relationships between key variables. This project involved data exploration and visualization to uncover patterns and insights within stock performance.
